An dramatic eagle at his 10th hole of the day in today's second round of the Fry's Electronics Open has played a key role in Paul making it into the weekend at the event in Scottsdale in Arizona. 

Paul was at one under for the day and for the tournament when he stepped onto the 10th tee of his round which was in fact the 1st hole of the Raptor Course at the Grayhawk Golf Club. Paul's drive found the right rough but from 170 yards his second found the bottom of the hole and he had moved to three under and three shots inside the likely cutline.   

Paul wasn't quite so fortunate when he missed the fairway at his 12th hole and took bogey and then again at the 16th when he missed the green and dropped another shot. He was then flirting with the cut but two pars to finish, one of them a good par save at the last, got the job done and he made it by two.

Paul is in 55th position but needs a big weekend to advance his cause to initially avoid stage two of Tour School before any other milestones can be considered.
