Paul's game has shown continuing improvement at the Chattanooga Classic, more especially on the greens and, at the halfway mark, he finds himself in a share of 29th posiiton at 8 under. 

The lead has been taken by Webb Simpson at an incredible 19 under and so while  a long way from the lead ,Paul will be pleased with the improvement in his game as Stage Two qualifying for the PGA Tour approaches.

The double bogey to finish off yesterday's opening round was a bitter blow for Paul especially having picked up seven shots in seven holes in the middle of his first round but he bounced back today and moved to 5 under through 14 holes below the momentum slowed with a bogey at the 16th.
