After a week at home and spending time with his family, Paul is back and rearing to go. "I was really struggling before the week off but in the little time I have had back it feels a lot better. I have gone to a slightly longer putter although it is not a long putter as such. I have always used a fairly short putter but the new 35 inch Scotty Cameron feels better." "The course here this week is in great shape and is a lot firmer than has been the case in the past when we have played it in late March and early April. The greens and the fairways are firm and so the scoring is unlikely to be as low as it has been in the past." Paul has not had a good record at the Sugarloaf layout missing the cut on three occasions and being forced to withdraw on the other. The golf course set up might suit him a lot better this week in what was previously a long hittters paradise.
Paul has a late tee time on day one when he will play with Cameron Beckman and Richard Johnson at 1.00pm |
