Paul was bouyed today by the news that he has gained an invite to play next week's Australian PGA Championship at Hyatt Regency Coolum. Speaking from the NSW Golf Club where he will this week tee it up at the Australian Open, Paul was delighted to be given the news by Tour official Simon Butterly.

"I had been unsure I was in next week's field so I am rapt to have been given the nod," said Paul. "I am looking forward to this week first however and am keen to work my way back into some form," added Paul, referring to what has been a poor year for him in the US.

Paul returned to Australia late last week after sorting out a few things at his home in Florida

Paul has an afternoon tee time on day one when he will play with Bryden McPherson and Paul Sheehan.
