Paul flew back to Miami after the event in Mexico and drove up to this week's venue at Palm Beach Gardens. "The course is a very good one and there will be a premium on keeping the ball in play. One par four measures 525 yards and yesterday it took two drivers to get anywhere near it." Paul finished 18th last week in Mexico and is pleased with the progress he is making on his game. "I hit the ball as well as I have for a long, long, time last week and I was particularly pleased with my ball control on a golf course where that was required. The week further reinforced, however, the need for me work even harder on my putting which I am determined to do." "At this stage I do not have a start at the tournament next week in Tampa but according to the list I am only three places out of getting a start so hopefully I will." Paul finished 27th in the recent re-rank of players who gained their 2007 PGA Tour cards via either the Tour School or Nationwide Tour. It is that ranking that determines the chances of ongoing starts until the next re-rank In April. "I started the year in 23rd place amongst those players. I have made four of five cuts but I do need to start converting a little better once I have made the weekend."
