gow_paul_adp9678After a break of nearly a month away from tournament golf Paul will return to the Nationwide Tour for next week's Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh.

"Once the decision was made to postpone the Mexico Open it then gave me the opportunity to have a good break back home and to be honest I feel I have benefitted from it," said Paul from his Sydney home on Tuesday. "I leave on Sunday for a concentrated period of events and hopefully the work I have been able to do in the last month will kick in."

"Alex Murray (my coach) gave me a specific regime to work on while I have been at home and I have not deviated from it and have also worked hard on building my fitness while here."

"I have played regularly up at Magenta Shores which I have found to be good because of the tight driving test it is. My accuracy is the one area of my game that has shown improvement this season in fact I am leading the fairways hit stats at present but clearly there is a lot more work to do on other parts of my game and feel it is coming together well. The true test will be under the gun in tournament conditions but it feels good right now."

"I have been practising a lot at Castle Hill and watching the Eels play which has not been too exciting given their form this season and have furher developed my involvement in Racing so have eally enjoyed being at home. From now on however it is a case of focusing on what I have to do over the next few months and hopefully finish the season of well."

Paul lost a playoff at the TPC Wakefield, the venue for next week's Rex Hospital event in 2004 and enjoys the golf course there.
