Paul is in La Quinta in Calfornia for this week's PGA Tour School Final Stage qualifying looking to carry over the improved form he showed during Stage Two in Panama City two weeks ago. Paul is amongst 163 hopefuls lining up in this week's event looking to secure a 2009 USPGA Tour card handed out to those players finishing inside the top 25 and ties at the end of the 108 hole marathon. Various levels of Nationwide Tour status are available to those who don't make it but clearly the object of this excercise is to be on the PGA Tour in 2009. Paul was forced to go through this process two years ago at finished 8th and is certainly a lot more confident about his game than he has been at any other stage this season. Paul will play the Nicklaus Tournament course in round one when he will play with Craig Kanada and Kris Cox at 8.40am
