Paul is in Christchurch in New Zealand's South Island for this week's New Zealand PGA Championship at the Clearwater Resort.

Paul has made a slow start to the season and he needs good weeks both there and in Queenstown next week to ensure he has an improved status for the early season events on the Nationwide Tour once it returns to American shores.

Paul missed the cut when he last played here in 2008 but in 2006 he recovered from a slow start to finish 7th.

Paul plays at 12.30 tomorrow when he plays with Scott Dunlap and Bubba Dickerson.
