A late bogey has slowed Paul's second round charge and eventually cost him a place in the weekend field at the Witchita Open in Kansas.

After what had been a slow start to the tournament with an opening round, no birdie two bogey, 73, Paul made a signficant move early on day two with five front nine birdes and made the turn in three under 33. He added another at his 15th hole of the day to be at 4 under for the day and 2 under for the tournament.

At that point he was inside the cutline but a bogey at the par three 8th (his 17th Hole) would cost him his chance of any further involvement in the tournament. His round of 68 left him one short.

Paul is entered for next week's Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, Missouri.
