By the time Paul had made the turn in round two of the inaugural Stonebrae Classic near San Francisco, his chances of making the cut had disappeared. An opening nine holes of 40 had seen him slip to 8 over and with the cut likely to fall at 2 over there was virtually no chance.

Paul played the final nine in even par 35 but the damage had already been done.

Paul and the Nationwide Tour now have a week off, returning on April 16th for the Athens Regional Classic an event Paul won in 2006 and hopefully the good memories from his victory there will be enough to get his season moving forward.
