Two birdies late in his second round at the Mayakoba Golf Classic near Playa Del Carmen in Mexico, have not only given Paul a start at the weekend in this event, they have kept him inside the top twenty five as the afternoon group play in the slightly more breezy conditions at the Greg Norman designed layout at the El Camaleon Golf Club.

 No bogies along with the two birdes have seen Paul record a second consecutive 68 and at four under he was five behind the leaders as he finished his round.

This is the fourth cut Paul has made in five starts this season on the USPGA Tour but it is important that he has a good weekend as the recent graduates to the PGA Tour are re-ranked after this event and the number of ongoing starts is dependant on where Paul stands on the money list amongst those graduates.
