Despite missing out on his USPGA Tour card last week Paul has arrived back to play the Australian Open at Royal Sydney feeling good about his game.

"I actually didn't play all that bad really but becuase I had no chance of improving my status after three rounds I decided I was better served to come back and get ready to play these events. I still have status on the Nationwide Tour and will be able to play the three early season events down here before heading back."

"I am keen to work hard on my fitness and strength over the summer and hopefully will benefit from that."

"It is good to be back and playing here at Royal Sydney. I played well when it was last played here a couple of years ago - I think I finished 10th so am looking forward to the week."
