Paul is battling in 113th position after the second round of the PGA Tour qualifying school in California, adding a second round of 71 to his opening 72. While some way back at this stage, Paul still has 72 holes to make an impression on the top 25 who will claim their cards for the PGA Tour next season.
 
Paul has made only the one bogey in his 36 holes, that coming at the final hole today and although currently six shots behind the top 25, there is the opportunity to challenge for one of the all important cards over the next four days.
