On a golf course where low scoring was the order of the week, Paul's weekend rounds of 73 and 72 at the Wyndham Championship were never going to assist in making ground on the field and he has finished in 74th place.

Paul started the week well but struggled on Saturday especially, a couple of double bogeys not helping his cause. 

Unfortunately for Paul he has now missed the chance to play in next week's opening round of the Fed Ex Cup finals and will not get another start on the PGA Tour until the 20th of September at the Turning Point Resort in West Virginia.

Paul may consider starts on the Nationwide Tour while he awaits the completion of the Fed Ex Cup series.
