After narrowly missing the cut at last week's Sony Open, Paul has safely made it through to the final round of the 90 hole Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in Palm Springs.

A fourth round of three under 69 at the La Quinta Country Club sees Paul enter the final round at eight under par and in 49th position.

After having made a last minute decision to play the event when it became obvious that he could well gain a start, Paul will be pleased he did as he now has a chance to put some 'runs on the board' early in his season.

Tomorrow's final round is at the host course, The Classic Club, and is for the professionals only after the first four rounds were played with pro-am partners.
